Legislation We Support

HF2503/SF2459

Minnesota Legislature

This bill would recognize pharmacists as providers and thus allow us to bill insurance companies for the services we are already providing.

HF1197/SF1176

Minnesota Legislature

This bill will allow pharmacists and trained staff to continue to do immunizations to patients as young as 3 years old, as well as administer and interpret CLIA waived point of care tests.

HF4916/SF5123

Minnesota Legislature

This bill recognizes that pharmacies are way underpaid by the Managed Care Organizations and provides a supplemental dispensing fee for qualified pharmacies for these MCO claims.

HF3902/SF3971

Minnesota Legislature

This bill takes the dispensing fee based on the cost to dispense survey and applies it to MN Medicaid FFS prescriptions.

HF2466/SF2320

Minnesota Legislature

This bill expands prescriptive authority to allow pharmacists to prescribe PrEP and PEP treatments after the necessary training. Pharmacists would also be able to order, administer and interpret lab tests.
